Yujeong Fishing Spot

A fishing spot located at Docheok Reservoir in Docheok-myeon, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. It covers an area of approximately 150,000㎡, with valley water flowing from the mountains and a water depth of about 3-4m. The main fish species are crucian carp, carp, leather carp, trout, and snakehead. Major facilities include a management office that also serves as a store and restaurant, a rest area, restrooms, and a parking lot. The fishing spot is equipped with ground platforms, floating bridges, and piers. A trout fishing area of approximately 6,600㎡, created in the fall of 2020, has a flexible opening date, so confirmation is needed before use. Women and students receive discounts on entry fees, but due to high usage on weekends, advance reservation is required to secure a desired date. With a mountain across the reservoir, it is also a healing place where visitors can enjoy both water and mountains.
