The ice fishing tour was amazing! Our guide, Kim Yoo-jung Railbike, took us to various places and we even saw ice sculptures. The fish we caught were cooked on the spot, and we had sashimi and steamed fish. I recommend dressing warmly for the cold. I want to come again.
Amazing experience on Feb 18! Our guide Kim Moon-chul was very friendly and helped us with ice fishing techniques. We caught plenty of fish and enjoyed sashimi and steamed fish for lunch. The ice valley was magical. One of the best winter tours in Korea!
We joined the Hwacheon ice fishing tour on Feb 4. Our guide Gapyeong Rail Bike was super helpful and made sure everyone caught at least one fish. The grilled sancheoneo was delicious and fresh. The ice valley was beautiful too. Highly recommend for winter fun!
Great day trip on Feb 11! Our guide Lee Yeon-ho was energetic and kept us motivated even in the cold. Caught a few sancheoneo and had them grilled on the spot – so fresh! The ice valley was stunning. A bit crowded but totally worth it.
I participated in the winter Hwacheon ice fishing tour. Our guide, Yeo Ju-ho, was very kind and taught us how to fish carefully. He even prepared the sancheoneo (trout) we caught on the spot as sashimi, and we also had grilled fish. It was incredibly delicious! Although it was cold, it was a memorable experience.
We joined the Hwacheon Ice Fishing Day Tour, and our guide, Mr. Zhao Hanyi, was very professional. He explained everything in Chinese throughout the tour, which made us feel at ease. The ice fishing experience was very interesting, and the mountain spring fish we caught were made into sashimi and grilled fish – fresh, sweet, and delicious! The ice valley scenery was also spectacular. You must try this if you visit Korea in winter!
