Elysian Gangchon Ski/Snowboard Night Tour from Seoul

The tour guide was interesting and explained things well. This time only the children went skiing, and they were all very happy. They're going to ski for 3 days straight.

We joined the tour last minute and as it was our second ski tour during our Seoul trip, we already had experience on roughly how things goes. This was definitely a better experience. We were the first group to arrive at the ski clothing rental shop and we get to choose our own clothes, the helmets was better and it was a quick and fast process. We also were the first group to arrive at Elysian Ski resort however it took much longer to get the tickets as our tour guide also got the tickets for the other groups which arrived later, so we were waiting around for quite a while. the tour included our lessons however as our kids learned from our previous ski trip which charged us extra 40,000 won for lessons, we didn't join the lesson and went straight to skiing which gave us more than 5 hours to ski. We tried the intermediate slopes Dragon, Horse and Pegasus, and the snow there was much more loose and steep than Vivaldi Park. Mr Shin, our guide took care of us and make sure everything was safe and looked after. Overall a great experience and we were glad we joined this second ski trip.

The overall arrangement was shorter than expected: I hope it can be extended! However, this ski resort is better than Yongpyong Ski Resort, there aren't too many people, and all the equipment is complete!

The booking process was very smooth. The day before, the guide and instructor contacted me via Line to remind me of the meeting time, tour number, and bus seat. The overall planning was very systematic. On the bus, instructor Jooho explained the itinerary in detail, and most importantly, the safety precautions. You could feel that the instructor was very, very focused on safety. There was also Jenny on the bus, counting people and quietly taking attendance to make sure no one was left behind. After arriving at the resort, the snowboard students from our bus were handed over to another instructor (I forgot the name). I had never skied before, and had only stepped on snow a few times. After a day of practice, of course, I still fell all over the place, but I was very satisfied that I could finally take the cable car up the simplest slope and ski down. As a side note, this ski resort has two beginner slopes, which are more than enough for beginners.

It was super fun! As a beginner, I chose snowboarding for the first time, which was a huge challenge. I'm so grateful to coach Sam for his diligent and serious guidance. Of course, as a beginner, I fell many times, but I was also able to take the beginner lift and slowly snowboard down from a higher point, which was awesome!

Great experience and trip. The destination is good and the guides were very helpful. I love it. They also came in on time.
