Lee Sang-won Museum of Art

The Lee Sang-won Museum of Art is a place where visitors can find rest and inspiration through art and nature. It opened in 2014 and offers a museum, hands-on workshops, and accommodations for travelers. The museum has a permanent exhibition of works by Lee Sang-won (1935–2024), a painter representing Gangwon State, and presents special exhibitions introducing a variety of works by contemporary artists. One of its signature programs is the Museum Stay 1 Night, 2 Days program. The main activities include spending a night at a museum in nature, viewing contemporary art, and participating in various hands-on activities involving metal, ceramics, and art.
