As you drive along the Saechunnyundo Coastal Road, where you can enjoy Samcheok’s blue sea and奇岩怪石, you will come across Coffee Marine Cooperative, a café perched on a coastal cliff. Coffee Marine has established itself as a coffee culture space that coexists with the local community and environment. At the entrance, exhibition works by local artists and products made in nearby areas welcome visitors. The “Samcheok Local Coffee Series” coffee drip bags produced by Coffee Marine Cooperative are souvenirs that connect the flavors of five coffees with five attractions in Samcheok. They can be purchased on-site or online. The hand-drip coffee experience allows visitors to brew and enjoy coffee themselves using green coffee beans roasted in-house while looking out at the sea and listening to the barista’s explanation. This experience is operated by reservation, so visitors are advised to inquire by phone before visiting.
