Pomae-ri Egret and Grey Heron Breeding Ground

Egrets are widely distributed throughout the world, from the tropics to temperate regions, and in Korea they breed throughout the country except in the Baekdu Mountain region. They can be seen in rivers, lakes, tidal flats, and other areas, and breed in Korea from early spring to late autumn, mainly nesting in groups in pine and ginkgo trees.
