Address: 10, Galjeongjigil, Yongpyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon State, Republic of Korea
Jintturu Welcome Trail begins at the riverside of Soksa Stream behind Jangpyeong Intercity Bus Terminal. This approximately 5-kilometer trekking course is easy to access and convenient to use, allowing visitors to enjoy the peaceful rural scenery and nature as they walk along the clear, clean waters of Soksa Stream, cross Geumsonggyo Bridge, and continue along the village embankment path and roads around the Yeongdong Expressway. Jangpyeong is a typical rural village in Gangwon State, with gently sloping mountainous terrain covering most of the area, the Yeongdong Expressway running through the center of the village, and Soksa Stream flowing through it. Jintturu is the old name of Jangpyeong-ri, said to have originated because the village is located on a long open plain, while Majeung-gil means that tourists visiting this place are warmly welcomed.
