Bonjeoksa Temple Site Three-Story Stone Pagoda

The Bonjeoksa Temple Site Three-Story Stone Pagoda is a three-story stone pagoda historic structure built during the Silla period. The stone pagoda components were stored at the Taebaek Coal Museum, and in 2012, the Bonjeoksa Temple Site History Park was created and the Bonjeoksa Temple Site Three-Story Stone Pagoda was restored. The surviving components are not complete. Bonjeoksa Temple Site is also called Beonjeoksa Temple Site. It is located at the eastern foothills of Hambaeksan Mountain, which rises 1,573 meters above sea level and forms the western boundary of Taebaek City. After crossing the bridge at the entrance to Jeolgol Recreation Area, the area where private homes are located is the temple site. The name Jeolgol originated from the fact that there were many temples here.
