Chudae Valley

Chudae Valley is a relatively gentle valley stretching approximately 20 km from Chudae, 10 km from the Girin-myeon Office, to Seolpibat. In spring, flowers cover the entire mountain; in summer, small waterfalls and pools form a scenic landscape among the nearby cliffs; in autumn, the mountains are adorned with splendid autumn foliage; and in winter, the snow-covered peaks look as though they have been painted with white ink. With beautiful scenery in all four seasons, it is a popular destination for family vacations. Primeval forests and waterfalls unfold along the valley, and the water is so clear and clean that fish and pebbles can be seen distinctly. There are also several nearby attractions where visitors can enjoy Inje’s beautiful natural scenery, including Bangtaesan Natural Recreation Forest, designated as a natural protected forest; Bangdong Mineral Spring, said to be effective in treating illnesses; Jindong Valley, a treasure trove of natural ecosystems with abundant primeval forests; Achimgari Valley; and the Jindong-ri National Leisure Campground.
