Why travelers stop here
Guman-dong Valley is a beautiful valley located in Buk-myeon, Inje-gun. It is a large valley formed by the merging of Misiryeong Valley and Baekdam Valley, extending for approximately 3 km between Baekdamsa Temple and the Twelve Seonnyeotang Pools. The clear, clean valley water harmonizes with the dense pine forest, making it a popular summer retreat. Nearby are the Yongdae Student Campground and Guman-dong Auto Camping Site, where visitors can enjoy camping in nature. Another advantage of Guman-dong Valley is that it can be visited in conjunction with other nearby tourist attractions.
The Chrysanthemum Festival is held at Yongdae Tourist Area. In the autumn flower garden created throughout the Yongdae Tourist Complex under the theme “Let’s Walk Only on Flower Paths in Inje,” various autumn flowers create a beautiful spectacle together with chrysanthemums. Baekdam Valley refers to the section stretching from Baekdamsa Temple to Yongdae-ri. It is quieter than the Seorak-dong area and will repeatedly inspire exclamations of admiration for the beauty of the valley.
