Pandaecheon

Pandaecheon is a stream in Pandae-ri, Jijeong-myeon, Wonju, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, located upstream of Ganhyeon National Tourist Area. The flowing waters of Samsancheon, the surrounding white sandy beaches, unusual rock formations, and mountain scenery create a beautiful natural landscape.

Straddling the border between Gangwon Province and Gyeonggi Province, it is just over an hour from Seoul’s Songpa area and is already well known among people who enjoy free primitive camping near Seoul. The undeveloped area, consisting of sandy beaches, allows car camping, camping, and cooking, and visitors can enjoy the romance of camping by lighting firewood at night. During the day, it is also a good place to fish while looking out over the flowing river.
