2025 The 17th Seoul Architecture Festival

The 2025 17th Seoul Architecture Festival reexamines Seoul's identity and locality in a future-oriented manner under the theme of Seoul Castle: Multi-layered City. The Seoul Architecture Festival started as an exhibition of Seoul Metropolitan Government Architecture Award winners, and since 2010, it has been expanded to include citizen participation programs so that it does not end as an event only for award winners. It has been held annually as a comprehensive architecture culture event with diversified programs such as exhibitions, lectures, forums, and field trips. In addition to the exhibition where you can see the beautiful buildings of Seoul that have won the Seoul Metropolitan Government Architecture Award, there are also citizen participation programs prepared to enjoy architecture culture more fun. The citizen participation programs consist of the general director's theme exhibition 'Talk Concert', 'Architecture Culture Tour' touring the Seoul Metropolitan Government Architecture Award-winning works, 'Open Class' where award-winning architects explain their works, and 'Open Office' visiting the design offices of award-winning architects.
