Samjaegol Songi Village

Samjaegol Songi Village is a rural village located in a place famous for its good mountains and clear water, boasting a natural environment with Gwangjeongcheon Stream, Hanjae Saemteo (spring), and pine forests where the subtle scent of pine mushrooms (songi) lingers. Residents here cultivate crops such as pine mushrooms, potatoes, corn, chili peppers, and beans. Among these, the pine mushrooms boast the highest quality in the country. Forty years ago, the first pine mushroom public sales center in Korea was established here, and Yangyang pine mushrooms were exported to Japan, spreading the excellence of the region's pine mushrooms worldwide.
