Dodamsambong Peaks

Dodam Sambong is the place where Jeong Do-jeon, who contributed to the founding of Joseon, spent his childhood. It is said that he was so captivated by the beauty of Dodam Sambong that he named his pen name 'Sambong'. You can see the scenery of Dodam Sambong, which was loved by Toegye Yi Hwang, Gyeomjae Jeong Seon, and Danwon Kim Hong-do, right before your eyes. The Sambong Story Hall located within the resort exhibits the attractions of Danyang as an archive. If you board a Hwangpo sailboat, you can pass through Seokmun and cross to the Dodam Garden on the opposite side. Dodam Garden is famous for its yellow cosmos planting area. You can fully experience the beauty of nature along with the scenery of Dodam Sambong.
