Megiilbeonji

Located near Isanpo IC along Jayuro, Megiilbeonji is a specialty restaurant for spicy catfish stew (maeuntang). The seasoned grilled catfish is also called catfish bulgogi. It is a famous place for those seeking the best restorative dish to regain energy. The spicy stew does not have the characteristic smell of freshwater fish, and the hand-made dumpling dough (sujebi) added to the stew is chewy. Additionally, they serve homemade kimchi made with green peach syrup. The restaurant is a two-story standalone building with the dining area on the second floor. The road at the entrance is narrow, but the parking lot is spacious.
