Namhansanseong Ilbeonji

Located at the entrance of Seongnam Namhansanseong Fortress, Namhansanseong Ilbeonji is a restaurant specializing in baek-suk (simmered chicken or duck soup) with a 40-year tradition, exclusively dedicated to this dish. It uses domestically sourced chicken and duck, freshly supplied twice a day, simmered thoroughly with a deep, rich broth made from 20 carefully selected ingredients. Another popular menu item is dak-dogani (chicken dogani), where dogani refers to a large earthenware pot or a sturdy bowl. You can enjoy a hearty table featuring acorn jelly (dotorimuk), potato pancakes (gamjajeon), and tofu kimchi (dubu kimchi).
