Shoulders Bounce with Eolssigu, Excitement Flows Naturally with Deongdeokkeung

During the Japanese colonial period and the Korean War, numerous performance troupes were scattered, but the Anseong Namsadang nori troupe has maintained its legacy to this day, holding regular performances every weekend. This is the performance of the Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmuldan. The audience response is so enthusiastic that the 700-seat venue is often full for each performance. Namsadang nori consists of six acts—pungmul (traditional percussion), beona (plate spinning), salpan (acrobatics), deotbogi (mask dance), eoreum (tightrope walking)—and about ten detailed skills.
