Dongtan Yeoul Park

Dongtan Yeoul Park is a neighborhood park located east of Osancheon Stream in Hwaseong City. The spacious and well-maintained park is ideal for walking and suitable for enjoying bicycles or kick scooters. It is not just flat; there are also uphill and downhill paths, making walks less monotonous. With an observatory and a music fountain, it is popular as a family outing spot. It is equipped with various sports facilities including multi-purpose sports facilities (badminton courts, tennis courts, basketball courts), a soccer field, and a track-type playground. There is also a dog park (pet playground) for families with pets. The music fountain operates from May to October on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It puts on a spectacular fountain show for 40 minutes at scheduled times, synchronized with about 10 songs. As the water from the music fountain flows down, it creates a wall waterfall. It operates at the same time as the music fountain, and in the evening, you can enjoy a beautiful light show. The rotunda observatory at the highest point of the park, shaped like a round dome, offers views of the entire park and Bansuksan Mountain. ※ Pets allowed (only for visitors who have their dogs on leashes and bring plastic bags for waste disposal).
