Sev Dor

It was September 1990 when a store specializing exclusively in alcoholic beverages opened in Seoul and began welcoming customers. Sev Dor is now quite well-known among liquor enthusiasts. This store displays and sells over 1,000 rare types of alcoholic beverages, including domestic products such as folk liquor, soju, beer, wine, and spirits, as well as wines, whiskeys, cognacs, gins, and vodkas from Eastern and Western Europe, the United States, Japan, China, Taiwan, and the Soviet Union. The store operates on a fixed-price system. The fixed prices here are relatively cheaper than those at retail stores or department stores. Sales are usually held after peak seasons such as Chuseok or Seollal, but even during peak seasons, group purchases can be made at prices lower than the fixed prices.
